My belief is that acupuncture should not be viewed as a luxury lifestyle choice    but as an effective and powerful healing service for everyone.  I love the energy and community spirit that working in a multi-bed clinic brings, enhancing the powers of acupuncture and I'm delighted to be involved in bringing these benefits to our community clinic in Henley.

My interest in acupuncture grew from my own positive experiences of using it for a number of years and from my long standing interest in the Chinese principles of health, healing and wellbeing. As well as treating patients privately I see the need for a way to make acupuncture accessible to as many people as possible and so my interest in the international concept of community acupuncture grew. Prior to being an acupuncturist I worked in healthcare marketing for many years. I currently live in Henley with my husband and two children.

I first became interested in acupuncture as a patient nearly 25 years ago. Like many of the patients I see now, I initially tried acupuncture because I felt I had reached a point where conventional Western medicine had nothing more to offer in terms of treatment. The results from that first session were nothing short of miraculous - and over time I became keen to learn more about this ancient and fascinating discipline. I feel that acupuncture is truly complementary to Western medicine - offering a different and equally important way of approaching disease and well-being.
